Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing Adtech e-commerce platform, built for merchants to generate incremental revenue with performance marketing and AI tooling to improve their shopping campaigns. Furthermore, Shoparize is revolutionizing the way people shop online. Our platform aggregates product listings from various retailers, providing users with a seamless and comprehensive shopping experience.
Who we are looking for
We are seeking a Middle DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, automating, and enhancing our infrastructure, with a focus on optimizing and scaling our applications. You will work closely with the development team to ensure smooth deployment processes, monitor system performance, and maintain a high level of system reliability. If you're passionate about cloud infrastructure, automation, and have a proactive approach to problem-solving, this role is for you.
What you will do
Manage and deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes in production environments.
Work within AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM) to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Implement, maintain, and improve monitoring and alerting systems to guarantee high availability and performance.
Collaborate closely with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and optimize deployment workflows.
Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, ensuring fast incident resolution.
Continuously improve infrastructure automation and operational best practices.
What you will need
2+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles.
Experience supporting production systems with high availability requirements.
Proactive mindset and strong ownership of infrastructure reliability.
Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployments.
Solid understanding of AWS services, especially EC2, VPC, S3, and IAM.
Practical experience managing EC2 instances, including performance tuning and cost optimization.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch.
Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation and operational tasks.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Nice to have
Familiarity with GitOps practices for continuous delivery and infrastructure automation.
Experience using Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
Advanced knowledge of Grafana, including building custom dashboards and visualizations.
Experience managing AWS RDS instances.
Familiarity with the Elastic Stack (ElasticSearch, Kibana, Elastic Cloud).
Experience with AWS OpenSearch for search and analytics use cases.
