Blackbird Lab is a software development company. While we are practicing an international working culture, we are proud representatives of Ukrainian values and traditions. We are a team of 90+ energetic, curious, smart, and open to new challenges tech pros who prefer efficient async communication, flexible working hours, a co-working office model, etc.

Being in this craft for 7+ years, we have managed to accumulate expertise and bring value to a number of clients. We cooperate with US and Canadian product companies of different sizes, from small startups to established products, in close, trusted relationships.

All team members, including management, have an engineering background. The process, participants who speak the same language and have a similar approach based on technical principles, is always efficient. It is way easier to make decisions and introduce new features in a team with engineering at heart. It is the technical DNA that lets us build high-quality products that facilitate the lives of our customers’ users.

Position & client

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (with a focus on frontend) to join the PackRush team. It is an online platform where users open packs with the chance to win luxury goods and crypto. In this context, its competitors would be other online platforms offering similar "pack opening" or "mystery box" experiences for various goods or digital assets.

Responsibilities

• Implement new frontend features and convert designs into maintainable code.
• Take full ownership of tasks from development to deployment.
• Maintain code quality through testing and reviews.
• Support planning and prioritization of frontend work.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with strong proficiency in React and Node.js.
• Strong ownership mindset; able to drive tasks end-to-end.
• Comfortable learning new technologies and navigating unfamiliar code.
• Works well with existing project standards and processes.
• Calm, reliable, and collaborative.
• Knowledge of Web3/crypto is a plus, but not required.
• Upper-Intermediate English speaking level.
• That would be great if you could start your working day at 9:00 Kyiv time.
