HR & Talent Acquisition Manager

With a growing team of over 20 full-time employees across tech, operations, marketing, and sales, we’re now seeking a hands-on and strategic HR & Talent Acquisition Manager to help scale our people operations and build an exceptional company culture.
Your Role
As HR&TA Manager, you’ll lead the full employee lifecycle at Shoparize — from recruiting top talent to fostering a thriving workplace culture and ensuring HR operations run smoothly across multiple countries. You will be the go-to person for all things people and culture, and a key strategic partner to leadership as we scale.
Responsibilities
Human Resources & People Operations
- Develop and manage HR policies, processes, and compliance across all operational countries (starting with NL, UK, ES, FR, IT)
- Administer payroll, contracts, benefits, and leave tracking
- Set up and optimize core HR systems and tools (e.g. contracts, onboarding, offboarding, managing access, performance reviews, etc.)
- Oversee and uphold Shoparize’s core values, internal policies, and data protection standards across the organization.
Talent Acquisition
- Own the full-cycle recruitment process: sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top-tier talent across Europe
- Develop hiring plans in collaboration with department leads
- Build our employer brand across channels and platforms
Company Culture & Engagement
- Champion and nurture our company values and culture
- Lead employee engagement initiatives, team events, and learning & development efforts
- Be a cultural coach to leadership and a trusted advisor to team members
- Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, collaboration, and community-building within the team.
Strategic & Operational Input
- Advise leadership on organizational design, compensation structures, and workforce planning
- Set up scalable HR metrics (retention, engagement, time-to-hire)
- Support internal communication and leadership alignment as we grow
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a fast-paced scale-up environment
- Hands-on experience in both HR operations and recruitment
- Strong understanding of Dutch and European labor laws
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset
- Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
Nice to Have
- Experience in remote or hybrid team environments
- Familiarity with tools like Personio, Deel.com, and/or similar HR platforms
- Exposure to international entity HR support
